Tinker Air Force Base
Tinker is located in Oklahoma City, but is basically surrounded by Del City and Midwest City. This is in the eastern side of the Oklahoma City and address to the visitors center is S Air Depot Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73145. The base was built in 1941, covers over 4,000 acres and currently supports over 26,000 military and civilian employees. As of writing, the current commander is Colonel G. Hall Sebren Jr.
You can be pretty much be to any of the surrounding suburbs within 30-45 minutes of the base. The makes housing off base an easy commute to a number of great areas!
